DefaultSoIaF on HBO

Friday, the series took one more step to becoming a reality. http://grrm.livejournal.com/
Let's keep our fingers crossed and find a way to wait it out (like a copy of Dance in our hands ).

Wow! HBO better like that script or else haha. I like that the BBC will be involved too, I'm a big fan of the types of miniseries and films they do.

This show sounds like it's about 5 years down the road, which is really disappointing.

At least he might have 6 of the 7 books out by then (if we're lucky) so we wont have to wait as long for the story to catch up to the TV series

I agree with Winty- I've always enjoyed what the BBC does with miniseries/films. They'd better frickin behave with this too

I take it the "beeb" don't show the vast volumes of wank they produce on BBC America, then? Oh well. So long as they're kept in a purely subsidiary role, all should be well. I usually like what happens when they throw their lot in with HBO. Here's hoping they won't force another bout of shoddy editing on British audiences.

Five years sounds like a good bet to me.
